Administration
EGPS administers all types of employee benefit plans, and provides all services required to conform with the latest Pension Laws and Regulations needed to maintain a plan's tax-qualified and exempt status, including:

Preparation of IRS 5500-series forms, including, as required, actuarial certification
Preparation of PBGC Form 1, as required
Calculation of tax-deductible contribution, including preparation of actuarial valuation report and/or annual report updating separate participant account balances

By utilizing our Daily Valuation Platform, clients can establish 401(k) Plans and choose from a selection of over 8,000 mutual funds. Participants can access their accounts 24 hours a day by dialing a toll-free number to connect to our Voice Response Unit, or through a secure internet site.
Plan Design
EGPS designs employee benefit plans to meet the individual needs of each client, such as maximizing the available tax deduction or increasing the benefits for key personnel with limited impact on the overall costs. We prepare the plan and trust agreement needed to implement the plan, and secure a favorable Determination Letter from the IRS which certifies the Plan's tax-qualified and exempt status.

Sometimes, last year's plan won't meet this year's needs. Our trained consultants administer plans with an eye to the special requirements of each client. If a plan stops "making sense" -- for instance, due to changes in employee demographics or legislation -- we'll propose changes aimed at reestablishing that client's priorities, including any required plan amendments.
