Kelly Poovey

With an illustrious career that began in 1988 in the retirement plan administration industry, Kelly Poovey has swiftly risen through the ranks to become a Regional Manager & Senior Retirement Plan Consultant at EGPS. Her early eagerness to unravel the detailed fabric of the industry led her from welcoming guests to managing complex accounts and fostering cherished connections with plan sponsors and financial advisors.

Kelly’s career has been predominantly focused on retirement plans – a field she has not only thrived in but also emerged as a passionate advocate. Service excellence and relational growth underscore Kelly’s favorite aspect of her work. She believes profoundly in the lasting impact of making others feel valued and heard.

Kelly’s ascendancy to Regional Manager at EGPS has afforded her opportunities for impactful leadership. Collaborating closely with her team of Retirement Plan Consultants (RPCs) and 3(16) specialists, she has garnered a wealth of knowledge and experiences. Her commitment to personal development and expertise is evidenced by her achievement of a Human Resources Management certificate in 2008, followed by her QKA qualification in 2011.

On a personal note, Kelly’s vibrant household includes her husband, their five children, and a cherished grandchild, not to mention two loving rescue pets—Maggie, a mix of Rottweiler, Siberian Husky, and Labrador; and Critter, her constant feline companion. Residing on Oak Island, Kelly cherishes the moments spent on the sandy shores with family and friends.
