JJ has made a vocation of helping business owners and executives meet their fiduciary obligations since 1998. Holding a BA in English and Spanish from St. Edward’s University, he worked as a middle school Spanish teacher before joining the retirement plan industry.
JJ’s professional background includes operations development and implementation, government compliance and consulting, new client acquisition, quality assurance, and issue resolution. He has taught classes on various retirement plan-related topics and business management best practices. He has written articles for the ASPPA ASAP, Plan Consultant magazine, and the Journal of Pension Benefits.
In his role as Chief Revenue Officer at EGPS, JJ leads national growth initiatives focused on driving revenue, strengthening relationships with advisors and recordkeepers, and enhancing the overall client experience. His deep industry expertise and results-driven approach help EGPS deliver exceptional service while expanding its reach and impact in the retirement plan marketplace.
JJ and his wife, Jennifer, have been married since 1998 and reside in Georgia. Nine children and a plethora of animals keep them playfully frolicking through life. JJ loves the outdoors, especially running, and has achieved his purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is an ordained deacon the Diocese of Savannah and enjoys dancing, singing, and strumming the guitar.
